Christmas Tree Collection Service 2025
Queenscourt Annual Christmas Tree Collection & Recycling Service
Save the Date: Our fantastic team of volunteers will be out and about collecting your Christmas Trees between Friday 10th – Sunday 12th January 2025.
By participating in our Christmas Tree Collection and Recycling service, you’ll be making a huge difference to #teamqueenscourt! This fundraising campaign is made possible by our wonderful volunteers who donate their time, vehicles, and petrol to collect real Christmas trees. These trees are then dropped off at one of our chipping sites. The chipped trees are repurposed for biofuel, natural habitats for animals, safer ground for children in local parks, and various other environmentally friendly and sustainable projects.
Suggested Donations and Impact:
- £11 – Provides Bath Towels for our patients on the In-patient Unit
- £22 – Contributes towards a home-cooked meal for patients on our In-Patient Unit
- £33 – Helps provide specialist books for children going through bereavement
- £55 – Supports a Physiotherapy Session to help ease discomfort
- £125 – Could contribute towards the cost of a nurse’s shift on our In-Patient Unit
Last year, we collected over 1,700 trees and raised over £26,000. This year, we aim to raise even more to help Team Queenscourt continue providing exceptional compassionate care for local people with life-limiting illnesses when they need us most.
