Blast Men’s Training take on National 3 Peaks Challenge
Community | 15 February 2022
A team of nine superstars from Blast Men’s Training in Southport are taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge in July, hoping to raise £5,000 for Queenscourt.
Calling themselves ‘Team Mad Men’, they are looking to complete the highest 3 Peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in less than 24 hours.
The Team have taken inspiration from our Mascot Queenie (the Queen Bee) after seeing Queenie set herself a list of challenges for 2022. Queenie went along to their photo shoot to help launch their challenge and to give them some words of encouragement. Queenie even did a bit of training with the team, providing some hints and tips of her own. Sadly there is no space on the mini bus for Queenie to take part this time!
Team Mad Men are off to a fantastic start with their fundraising, as they’ve raised over £1,000 in just four days – but they need your support to hit their target. None of the team have done anything like this before and it will be a real challenge for all involved, with lots of training needed to get them in the necessary shape to tackle the National 3 Peaks Challenge in July.

You will be able to follow their training journey and see how Queenie is supporting them in the coming weeks and months.
A big thank you from #teamqueenscourt to Mark Poole, Paul Blane, Phil Parkes, Martyn Farrell, Michael Parkes, Michael Sutton, Richard McNally, Phil Clinton and Tom Iddon from Blast Men’s Training for thinking of Queenscourt and supporting us with this challenge.
