Community and Challenge Events Fundraiser - Queenscourt Hospice

Community and Challenge Events Fundraiser

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Community and Challenge Event Fundraiser with a proven track record of success, to join our friendly team and play a key role in significantly increasing our fundraising.

You will be responsible for the event and campaign management of our challenge events (national and local) and our community fundraising initiatives. You will be a positive influencer and an engaging communicator. You must have the skills required to build successful partnerships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, in order to maximise fundraising opportunities and income generation for our Hospice. You will also be an empathetic individual in your communications with patients and relatives, ensuring sensitivity and confidentiality at all times.

You will be organised, decisive, and creative, working alongside colleagues to ensure that detailed innovative campaigns (including marketing & PR) are developed to maximise support and get the wider community excited about supporting Queenscourt.

Flexibility will be required in this role. It is essential that the successful candidate is willing to travel (mainly but not exclusively across West Lancashire, Southport and Formby), and there will be some weekend and evening work essential to fulfil the duties of the role.

You will report directly to the Fundraising Manager and this role will also involve some line management responsibilities, and working closely with Volunteers.

Interested applicants should be able to evidence how they meet the criteria outlined in the Person Specification for the post.
