If you are a van driver and would like to volunteer to help during the collection weekend, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We would be very grateful for your support in making this service as successful as possible. Last year, we raised over £8,000 for Queenscourt Hospice and collected 800 trees, but with your help and support we can collect even more trees, raising even more money for your local Hospice.

Have you bought your Christmas tree yet?

If you’re still looking for the perfect tree, why not have a look at Forest and Fir, who sell premium grade Trees drawn from the UK. Premium grade ensures a Tree is of symmetrical shape, consistent density of foliage with no dead or damaged branches. The Christmas trees are drawn from sustainable plantations here in the UK and for every tree cut, two are planted in its place. The plantations are part of the British Christmas Tree Growers' Association which ensures the highest environmental standards are adhered to.

Whilst the trees are growing, they provide excellent habitat for wildlife and many bird species. The trees are cut in winter which has little effect on the breeding pattern of wildlife and then, after the festive season, the trees be given a new lease of life through the Christmas tree collection scheme where individuals can donate when they book in their tree for collection online. With between six and eight million Christmas trees sold each year in the UK, you can only imagine how much money this could raise to help people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Until the 14th December 2018, Forest and Fir will be donating to the annual Christmas Tree Collection service. For every online purchase FROM FOREST & FIR of a Christmas Tree 5ft and under JustHelping (@charityxmastree) will receive a donation of £5 and for every online purchase of a Christmas Tree 6ft and over JustHelping will receive a donation of £10. These additional donations will help to increase monies raised for Queenscourt Hospice and will also go towards helping maintain sustainable, environmentally friendly Christmas Tree plantations across the UK. During the checkout process, simply pop in the code HOSPICE in the charity code field and Forest and Fir will give a donation towards the annual Christmas Tree Collection.

Your Christmas Tree will be delivered direct to your door on a day and time of your choosing and Queenscourt Hospice will be available to collect and recycle your tree in January for an easy, hassle-free start to 2019! #ChristmasCharitreeCollection
