CARE FOR THE DYING FOR WEST LANCS, SOUTHPORT AND FORMBY NURSING HOMES
The Priorities of Care for those thought likely to be dying were published in June 2014 by the Leadership Alliance for the Care of Dying People. This discusses the care that people and their families should expect at this time and lays out clearly the duties and obligations of health and social care professionals caring for those thought likely to be dying.
Come on this session to learn how best to develop an individualised plan for the care of those thought likely to be dying and how best to document this. Attendees should also have been on or be enrolled on the Simple Skills Secrets, Core Communication Skills course.
West Lancs, Southport and Formby Palliative Care Services and the TRANSFORM Team offer FREE 'in-house' training for both Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants on this topic.
