On Day 4 of our Compassionate Communities blogs we take a look at the team at Holy Family Catholic Primary School who managed to raise the spirits of all of us here at Queenscourt with a simple, but thoughtful act.
The primary school based in Southport shared rainbow-themed artwork that they created to ‘stay connected’ to the community during lockdown.
Staff, pupils and families at the school on Norwood Crescent, created rainbow and floral artwork to send to essential workers including those here at Queenscourt and at Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral.
They also made a cheery video of their work, which they shared online, cleverly edited to look as if they were ‘passing’ each other rainbow-themed work.
A spokesperson for the school said: “We wanted to stay connected from our homes and school to send hope to all pupils and families during these difficult times.”
