Volunteers at Queenscourt

How can I volunteer?

volunteersQueenscourt relies on hundreds of volunteers to do a wide variety of jobs both within and outside the hospice.

Volunteers bring with them a rich variety of skills and qualities and save the hospice thousands of pounds.
People often say they are the icing on the cake – we say they are actually a fundamental ingredient in the cake mix!!!

We simply could not function without them.

We know that time is precious, if you have a few hours to spare and are interested in volunteering at Queenscourt please see our current volunteer vacancies

If there is something there that matches your skills and that may interest you we would be delighted to hear from you.

All our volunteers will receive induction training in preparation for their roles and we ask that they attend our periodic update days as well as keeping themselves up to date with hospice policies and news through our routine communication channels.

3. We charge NOTHING for our services! They are FREE to all who need them!

4. Only through the generosity of LOCAL people are we able to provide the services so badly needed by our patients.
